Brian Lara is new West Indian Captian
Brain Lara will be given another chance to prove himself as a Captian. It is pretty much unclear that for how long he will be the Captain, but we know he will be captain for the comping Zimbawe tour. Lara has been the best of the best batsmen. His ability to smash the ball all around the park is really one of a kind. The best shot that I like from his the one which he pulls for a sixer or four. He doest a little jump from the ground and then plays that shot. Aamir Sohail has a similar type of shot too. Lets hope that his Captaincy will lead the West Indian Cricket to another World Cup victory. WI havent won any World Cup since 1979.
Lara also has the uniqe and only record of scoring 400* runs in a Test Match, and of course he is only player to have the kept the Highest Score in a Test Match by Player record two times, once when he score 375 and the other when he scorred 400*. Both of the record were made when playing against West Indies.
